HOW WILL THE FUNDS BE MANAGED?

We will monitor the influx of payments and as soon as we hit the first R220 000.00 we will start the installation of the cameras. Please note that the account will be audited by our treasurer and the RPA jointly and we will make available to anybody who wishes to check that the money is being spent on the cameras and nothing else.

We stated that this is a joint effort and without you the community, this won’t happen. So Please lets stand together and make this happen.

FAQ

If we cannot, for any reason reach the critical mass, and the project does not commence, everyone who has contributed will be refunded.

PROPOSED SITES (FOR THIS PHASE)

The current Model for now is based upon 13 Camera Poles:
• 2 Double LPR and Camera View Poles
• 3 Single LPR and camera View Poles
• 5 Poles with 2 View Cameras
• 3 Poles with 3 View Cameras

The camera poles will have LPR and Motion Detection Cameras on them as follows:
A: 2 LPR Hikvision cameras on each of the Bluewater bay entrances to the suburbs either side of the highway and 1 LPR cameras on the Swartkops, Tafat and Bluewater Drive entrances. These cameras have the ability to check double lanes, hence the need for only one camera per two lanes.

B: Each of the camera stations will have two state of the art Hikvision Accusense AI CCTV cameras that can detect specific movement, i.e. either cars or humans and or both and ignore other movement criteria, installed on the poles. The Yellow dots will be two cameras and the green dots three cameras.

GOOD TO KNOW

Fully installed with solar panels as the source of energy. This negates the need for electricity during load shedding. (They have batteries too.)

GOOD TO KNOW

Cameras are fitted with a downward-facing dome camera too, and tamper alarms, so that we know if someone is attempting to vandalize them.

GOOD TO KNOW

These have a maintenance agreement in place to look after and maintain, clean and inspect the cameras every month to keep them functioning properly.

I’m ready to chip in to make this happen.
